ABC Bets Case Study

abc bets

If you are on ANY betting email lists you have probably been bombarded with emails and offers about ABC Bets. I know I have!

So I figured that I would do a case study on it to see if it is really as profitable as they make out (you know – sales copy and all that).

Keep in mind that this is the start of a 4 week case study, with results being updated each week. The full ABC Bets review will be done after the case study has finished.

What Does The Betting System Claim?

The following “numbers” can be found on their sales page:

  • “convert your pocket change into £2000 a week”
  • “£492.18 to £1,657.84 a week”
  • “new formula with a 52% strike rate on an average price of 6/1″
  • “unbelievable 67% strike rate”

You get the point :)

Actually, I am very interested in the strike rate and odds, not so much the actual earnings as that would depend on how big your betting pool is.

So it certainly sounds good but will 4 weeks of testing it prove that it actually is?

What Do I Get When I Buy?

You get a 6 page guide that shows step by step how to identify bets – (very easy), as well as a video showing the same thing. No voice instructions though – you just follow along and do what they do in the video.

If you opt in, you also get emails every morning showing you which bets to place so you save some time to not have to go through all the races yourself.

Something I think is missing is a good staking plan and bankroll management. These 2 are almost as important as a good betting system and I would go so far as to say that you will not be profitable over the long term if you don’t have a robust staking plan or bankroll system.

How Does The ABC Bets System Work?

  • The system is all about betting on horse races, specifically UK (and some Irish) races.
  • Every morning (or previous evening) you go to the Racing Post website and check through each race for certain criteria – it takes me about 10 seconds per race.
  • Go to your favorite bookie and place your bets.
  • Cross your fingers and hope you win.

How Am I Going To Test ABC Bets?

Well, first I want to check if the bets by email correspond to the bets I get by following the strategy. If it does, good. If not, why not?

I am going to bet £5 per bet. Why so low? Well, there seems to be around 2-6 qualifying bets each day, so I will be risking about £100 per week. As I am a bit sceptical about the system I don’t want to risk any more until it has proven itself.

So there you have it. I will update the case study every week with the bets I placed and my profit or loss.

Make sure to come check out my Week 1 results next week!

If you don’t want to wait for the case study to finish you can get ABC Bets here.
